When you use the conventional mail system, you have to physically go to the post office and are forced to wait five to seven business days. At Posta, we believe that if you would like to send something as simple as a letter or some homemade food to a loved one, you should be able to do it instantly.     The transaction works in a few simple steps.
  1. Open the app and set the pick up location, drop off location, and the receiver's details.
  2. A text message notification will be sent to the receiver to confirm the transaction details, and once confirmed, a courier is requested with a link to track the courier's progress.
  3. The courier will pick up the package or items and make the delivery to the recipient.
  4. Once the recipient enters the correct security code, the courier will release the package.
  5. That's all!
Posta simplifies the process of sending and receiving things with technology, which creates a much better user experience. With Posta, you can request couriers on-demand, track the progress in real-time, and skip the trips to the post office. Furthermore, in a majority of markets in the United States, there isn't an A to B direct mail solution.

The application was built with security, safety, and privacy in mind. All payments are processed using the Stripe platform, which implements industry leading security protocols.
Nope! The person receiving the delivery will not need the app. In this case, text message notifications will be used.
Posta uses multiple layers of notifications, confirmations, and security measures. Before a courier is requested, both the sending and receiving parties confirm the details of where the pick up and drop off locations are as well as what is being sent. Once the confirmation is complete, Posta instantly requests a courier to the pick up location and administers a security code that only the courier as well as the sending and receiving parties are privy to. Upon pick up and drop off, notifications are sent. Before the courier can release the package, the security code must be entered into the application in order to confirm the parties are in fact who they are. Live tracking is available throughout this entire process.
Yes! You can use Posta to send and receive food as long as Posta is launched in your market.
Yes! You can use Posta to send and receive things you have bought or sold on Craigslist as long as Posta is operating in your market.
Posta Partners are selected through our secure application process. Partners apply, are carefully selected, required to pass an industry standard background check, and are given access to the Posta Partner platform only after this process is complete.

Posta Partners have access to the Posta platform in order to receive local courier jobs. Posta Partners are independent contractors.
Being a Posta Partner allows you to earn money in your free time by taking on courier jobs. Posta operates in concentrated areas, and limit users from sending or receiving things on the platform to under 25 pounds as well as requiring the contents to fit inside of a standard sized mike crate. This gives Posta Partners the ability to complete multiple jobs in short amounts of time, which means higher earnings. We are here to support Posta Partners complete jobs the right way, and are constantly working on platform updates to maximize your earnings.
Click here. Once you submit your preliminary information, our team will get back to you as soon as possible with the next steps. This will include filling out an informational form, our team running a background check, and then reviewing the onboarding as well as terms documents. You set up your own payment information within the app using Stripe's industry leading portal.
All are welcome to apply. We require potential Partners to pass a background check. Contractors who have experience on other similar platforms are preferred, however, this is not necessary. Posta values contractors who are hard working, patient, and honest.
Fill out the Posta Partner application. When our team receives it, they will send you an email back with an informational to complete. Download and complete the informational on your computer. Send it back as a reply to the email you received it from. Within a few days our team will have reviewed your informational, and schedule a 10 minute phone screen. Once this is complete, our team will either proceed forward with a background check or notify you that we were unable to proceed. The background check will be emailed to you, and if everything checks out, you will gain access to the Posta Partner app to start earning. The entire process can take anywhere from 2 to 5 business days.

In order to ensure the highest quality of Posta Partners for a world class user experience, Posta utilizes industry standard procedures. The background check will screen out applicants who have a history of violent or sexual crimes, a recent history of a poor driving record, and recent crime convictions involving dishonesty.
Yes! We are here to make sure jobs are completed the right way. Posta will provide reference materials and is always an email away for any questions or concerns.
There is not a formal in person orientation, however, there are orientation guides that we will send you so you can get familiar with the platform. We may periodically give you a call or email to see how things are going.
